Disciples III: Renaissance studies. Dat is the sequel to Disciples II: Dark Prophecy, for very highly rated by players. All the time we have to do with the strategy played in turn-based system, but the authors were able to introduce a lot of changes compared to the previous section.

Our main objective remains unchanged. The players continue to play the role of one of the lords of the ongoing struggle to stabilize unabated his reign in the land of Nevendaar. Their task is to travel around the vast lands, collecting materials, the development of locks (at a rate of one item per day), and gain experience by winning battles. We can choose among three main factions: the Empire (Empire), The Legions of the Damned (Legion of the Damned), and the Noble Elves (Noble Elves). Known from the previous titles Mountain Clans (Mountain Clans) and the Undead Hordes (Horde Undead), also appear in the game, but we can not lead the troops into battle.

The fight is traditionally played in the turn-based system, however, and there are some changes. First of all, the hero of commanding an army can fight almost as well as spells (we no longer have a choice between a warrior and mage). Character in command the army has been treated in an entirely new, similar to the RPG-of that, way. We are dealing with a window inventory, statistics, points etc. Each element armor, weapons and used items are reflected in the image of a hero. After gaining a new experience can develop their own individual statistics and skills. In turn, troops of soldiers are able to move around the battlefield (in previous sections have to remain in the place where the battle started). This gives a little more tactical possibilities.

A very important change is the transition from 2D to full system trójwymiar, thanks to Virtual Dream - engine created by the developers studio. Dates. We can now see the 3D image of not only the main character, but also the field of battle, and troops of soldiers (very well affect their presence, yet in previous parts of the images of warriors impressed craftsmanship).

Disposal we have several game modes: campaign, isolated skirmishes and multiplayer game. In addition, authors have implemented a map editor. All this is well known and proven in past parts of the series.
